The serious allegations leveled by Congress leader and MP, Madan Lal Sharma against the Speaker Tara Chand and former PCC President Peerzada Mohammed Sayed has shaken the faith of public on the democratic set up and also exposed the integrity and credibility of these leaders.
This was stated by Subash Chander Verma BJP Corporator in a hand out here today.
The BJP corporator said that the people of the state had yet to recover from the shock they got from the much publicized sex scandal, the exposure made by the sitting MP of the Congress party against his own Speaker has shaken the faith of the people in the present dispensation. ‘Azad who is making tall claims about Kushhali and corruption free state is better advised to take care of his ministerial flock who have turned morally corrupt’, Verma added.
The BJP Corporator said that in view of the sensational disclosures made by the Congress MP, the Chief Minister should immediately remove Tara Chand from the post of Speaker Legislative Assembly to uphold the dignity of the House.
Demanding a thorough probe into the entire episode, Verma demanded dissolution of the State Assembly and holding of fresh elections. |
