| DIET Doda completes sensitisation programme of teachers | | |

Doda, May 5: Continuing with the programme of sensitisation of teachers across the District, District Institute of Education and Training Doda during the last leg of the sensitisation programme organized one day workshop at Thathri and Bhelessa, for the teachers of Zone Bhalessa, Thathri, Gundna and Bhatyas on 3rd and 4th of May.In these programmes about 400 HOIs and teachers were sensitised with the total of about 1400 teachers were sensitised across the District during the last three week. The main focus of these workshops was to sensitised the teachers about the recently issued 30 point guidelines for the teachers/ schools to improve the learning outcomes and uplift the educational standard in Government schools, before starting the monitoring and taking action against the defaulters/ non complying teachers and schools. During the sensitisation programme, the teachers were exhorted to strive for quality education, value education, effective use of TLM and blackboard, lesson planning, regularity and punctuality in the Government school. During the sensitization programs, Principal DIET Doda Lal Hussain stressed for making the teaching learning process more interactive and child friendly.Sh Lal Hussain asked the teachers that if they calculate the yearly expenditure of every child in the Government they will realize that how far ahead of Public Schools we are but when it comes to the learning outcomes of the children in Government schools how far behind we are.This picture reflects very poorly on our commitment and dedication towards these poor children who need our services the most. |
