UDHAMPUR, May 5: J&K National Panthers Party continues its protest against regular traffic Jam & recently hike in toll tax rate at Ban toll plaza. JKNPP activists were up in arms against these issues under the leadership of Former MLA & NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia at Jakhani. Expressing deep anguish over regular traffic Jam at Udhampur, Mankotia said that people of Udhampur feels tortured everyday due to this regular heavy traffic jam. Mankotia said that main reason of this traffic jam is Jakhani naka due to which thousands of trucks remains stranded in Udhampur for several days which creates mess every day, he said that school children, patients & employees suffered badly due to this traffic jam. He demands to shift the Jakhani naka. Reiterating the demand to revise the toll tax rates at Ban toll plaza, Mankotia said that hike in toll tax is big burden for general public & it should be revised soon otherwise Panthers Party will continue its protest. Whereas Mankotia also demands to revoke the decision of traffic ban on highway on Wednesday & Sunday, Mankotia termed this decision as dictatorship of Government. Scores of activists including senior leaders were also accompanied Mankotia.
