| Seven-run win for Kashyap Whites | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 6 Kashyap Whites registered a seven runs victory over Kashyap Greens to consolidate their position in the Kashyap Tetragonal Twenty-20 Cricket Series underway at MHAC Nagbani School grounds, near here today. Kashyap Whites recorded a big win because of the exceptional performance by Vijay Dhar, who first played patient innings and then clinched four wickets giving away just eight runs. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Kashyap Whites bowled out for 113 runs in 19.4 overs. Provin Bhat was top scorer with 25 runs off 19 balls including two sixes and two fours while Rajesh Verma made 24. Rahul Matttoo and Vijay Dhar contributed 15 and 11 runs respectively. From Kashyap Green, Dheeraj Singh and Anku Chib took two wickets each while Lucky bagged two and Sanjay one. In reply, Kashyap Greens could not chase and lost all their wickets for 106 runs in 19.5overs. Nainu Singh played superb innings of 19 runs facing just nine deliveries. Rocky Raina remained top scorer with 25, followed by Anil Dhar, who contributed 17. Vijay Dhar claimed four wickets for Kashyap Whites. Rajesh Varma and Vinod Dhar shared two each and Provin Bhat bagged one. Vijay Dhar was adjudged man of the match for his match winning performance.
