| On spot recruitment drive launched in Jammu | | IGP, Div Com visit Kathua, Doda | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 6 Jammu and Kashmir Police has launched on the spot recruitment drive for rural villages of Jammu division as a part of special barti for the youth of the state. Known for his public contacts during his service period in Jammu and Kashmir Inspector General of Police, visited various rural villages of the Kathua, Udhampur, Doda and Ramban for the purpose besides having face to face interaction with the people of these areas. In Kathua the senior officers who were accompanying by J.P.Singh –IPS, SSP and Mrs. Sarita Chauhan–IAS, DC Kathua visited flung areas of the District Kathua to review the security arrangements and to have first hand knowledge about the problems being faced by the people. On the spot recruitment drive was also carried out at Machedi, Malhar and Duggain by the IGP from among eligible candidates hailing from these areas. A large number of youth from the adjacent backward areas of Kandli, Badlota, Sadata, Malhar Koti Chadgar, Dogan Daggar Dulgola also participated in the recruitment rally. The IGP and Divisional Commissioner addressed the people in large numbers and issued on spot directions to mitigate their problems. K. Rajendra (IPS) accompanied by S.Pandey-IAS Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Shri Alok Puri (IPS) DIG of Police Udhampur-Reasi Range today also visited the far flung areas of District Udhampur , Doda and Ramban to review the security arrangements and to have first hand knowledge about the problems being faced by the people . On spot recruitment drive was also carried out at Dudu (District Udhampur) and Mahoo Mangat (district Ramban) from among eligible candidates. The IGP and Divisional Commissioner addressed the people in the large numbers and issued on spot directions to mitigate their problems. People appreciated the on spot recruitment policy of the Government for recruiting youth from backward areas who could not compete with others due to lack of awareness and resources. |
