| JURSEA stages protest demonstration | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 7 Alleging favoritism in the selection process by the Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB), JURSEA today held a protest demonstration and burnt the effigy of Chairman Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) here todat ay JU Campus. Addressing protest demonstration, Vikas Sharma, president of the JURSEA said that only blue eyed individuals are being recruited by these agencies and deserving educated youth is deprived of their right to employment. He demanded the fair selection with out any foul play, he warned the authorities against favoritism in the selection process so that the deserving candidates get their due right. Alleging discrimination with Dogri and Punjabi, Sharma mentioned that no subject code mention for Post Graduation (Academic) in Punjabi and Dogri in application forms issue by SSRB in recent advertisement of date 22-04-08, He also said that the recruitment process for the post of Naib Tehsildar was started a long ago, but due to faulty method of distribution of the Roll no Slips/Admission cards for the screening examination, a large number of aspirants of this post have not received the same till date. So the date for this purpose should be extended and the roll numbers should be issued without any further delay in the schedule, he demanded. He also informed list for the post of patwares which was started in 29-12-2005 has been released for all the districts except Jammu and Udhampur. He demanded the release of selection list for the same at earliest possible. He warned SSRB authorities against their self styled functioning and a long delay in the selection process.
