| Junior officers enjoy higher postings in OPG | | | Early Times Reorter Jammu | May 7 Continuing with its pace of transfers and postings, the government today placed two more junior officers in the higher grade of Kashmir Administrative Service though in their own pay and grade. This is one of the several dozens orders issued in past few weeks when junior officers have placed in ranks of or equivalent to the Sub Divisional Magistrates. According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Tsering Narboo, Assistant Director Information, Leh has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nyoma vice Mr. M. Raju. Similarly, Ghulam Rasool Badana, Assistant Director Information has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Information, Kashmir against available vacancy. Meanwhile, M. Raju, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nyoma has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Basholi vice Mr. Ajay Singh Jamwal. Ajay Singh Jamwal, KAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Basholi has been transferred and posted as Project Officer, Watershed Development, Jammu against available vacancy. The placement of Mr. Narboo and Mr. Badana on higher posts shall be in their own pay and grade and purely as stop-gap arrangements. This will not confer any right on these officers for promotion as and when appointments/promotions to the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) are made under rules. |
