Madan returns home unheard, Tara shares word with people

The Congress Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma who had rushed to New Delhi to explain his position following allegations he leveled against two senior party leader today returned to the town unheard from the high command.
Sources said that Madan had rushed to New Delhi to clear air with the party high command after being served show cause notice for dragging name of Speaker Legislative Assembly Tara Chand and former PCC Chief Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed in sex scandal. It is learnt that none of the top leaders of the Congress granted Madan an audience to explain position on this issue.
It is learnt that Madan was present in Delhi when the PCC chief circulated copies of the show cause notices to the media but did not meet him. Sources close to Madan Lal said that he is expected to visit New Delhi immediately after he will get audience with party President.
Meanwhile, hurt by Madan’s reprehensible remarks, the Speaker Tara Chand today had a word with his electorates where went emotional explaining the alleged conspiracies against him.
Addressing a party meeting in his assembly constituency, Tara Chand said, “I am son of the soil, I am one among you and I rose to the ranks of Speaker of the state assembly with your blessings. I can not dump you”. He, however, avoided any direct reference to the case saying that it was not appropriate to comment as the matter was sub-judice in the High court.
Earlier when Tara Chand arrived at the venue of the rally he was greeted with loud cheers by party workers and supporters. In an oblique reference to his political enemies’ slogans ‘yeh goonda gardi nahin chalegi rent the air’ while Tara Chand was being garlanded by party workers amid loud cheer and clap.
Soon after he climbed the dais he began his address by saying “I am with you today to tell you all, do not feel bad for whatever has been said and propagated against me by my enemies in the party. In the coming days they might launch fresh tirade against me and go to any extreme to defame me. but you are my best judge and you know me in and out.
“You are my conscience keepers. You know, everything about me and I cannot hide anything from my voters. So judge me on the basis of my performance as your public representative and do not pay heed to malicious campaign against me, Tara Chand said repeatedly in an emotionally surcharged atmosphere. On the occasion Tara Chand also listed out various development works initiated by him in his constituency for the betterment of people.
