Indo-Pak ministers meet to discuss bilateral issues
5/12/2019 9:19:06 PM
India and Pakistan plan to meet at Krygistan in connection with the Shangai cooperation org anisation (SCO) where the two in issues that may bedeviul their relations. Well on the part of India the meeting will be attended by foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Pakistan may be reprfesented by its foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Apart from the Kashmir issue the issues that irritate the India-Pak relations is the violation of water Treaty of 1960. And India may start the discussion with the way Pakistani troops violat ed ceasefire agreement. Well the water treaty agreement has not being violated by India but Pakistan has been violating ceasefire agreement on a regular basis. That India Pakistan relations have witnessed severe tension-and the basic reason for this tension is the export of terror to India and to Jammu and Kashmir. It has been witnessed by the Indian troops that during ceasefire violations Pak army personnel push groups of militants into Jammu and Kashmir to hike the level of incidents of violence. And the militants pushed into Kashmir have created a scare among the voters that resulted in over 2 percent polling in Shopian and Pulwama. Separatists too thrive on the strength of milit ants. On February 27 last Pakistan Air force bombed various military outstations on the border and this was a retaliation to India Air force bombing of JeM training camps at Balakot, Chakoti and Muzaffarabad. And this action could be organized by Modi alone. And there is a world of difference what the previous Congress Government could do.Well Manmohan Singh prime Minister during the UPA Government had claimed that many surgical st rikes were u ndertaken by the Congress but the BJP led NDA Government said that there w as no proof for even one surgical strike. In fact du ring the UPA rule the terror across the border had increased. The result of the increased violence has to be tackled by Modi and his government.
