Jammu, May 12: On the occasion of International Labour Day, Adbi Kunj organized a literary tributes meet, here today. The meet was presided over by noted poet from Kishtwar Abdul Jabbar Butt whereas noted singer Chaman Sagoch was the special guest of the occasion. Bishan Dass Khak conducted the proceeding of the meet. In his welcome address, Sham Talib President of the organization, threw detailed light and also highlighted the importance of Labour Day. Speaking on the occasion, Aarash Dalmotra Chairman Adbi Kunj highlighted the difficulties and problems being faced by the labourers in day to day life.
Later, Adbi Kunj also paid tributes to film personalities Music Director Naushad, Singer Manna Day and famous poet Kaifi Aazmi on their birth anniversaries.
The poets who participated in the meet included Aarash Dalmotra, Abdul Jabbar Butt, Bishan Dass Khak, Raj Kamal, Rajeev Kumar, Kalu Ram Saldotra, Manjeet Singh Kamar, Ved Uppal, Jaitender Bassan, Saparesh Sharma, Chaman Sagoch, SK. Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar and Sham Talib.
