Udhampur, May 12: A Police party of Police Station Chenani led by Inspector Paramjeet Singh under the supervision of Santokh Raj Deol SDPO Chenani arrested two smugglers and rescued 55 bovine animals form them. As per reports, during naka checking, police party intercepted 2 trucks bearing registration no. JK 14B 8523 and JK14 B 6555 for checking. During search of said vehicles, 55 bovine animals were found loaded in both the vehicles without any permission. The accused have been identified as Parvez Ahmed son of Junaid Ali resident of Krimchi, Udhampur and Nayaz Ahmed son of Mohammad Tahare resident of Dansal Jammu, were arrested on spot. In this connection, cases under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Chenani and further investigation is going on. |
