Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and languages organized an interaction programme with media persons here today.
Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, secretary Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages interacted with the media persons for the first time at Jammu after taking over as secretary of the academy.
While talking to media , he said that the academy will continue working for the promotion of art, culture in the state and expects good response from the people. He added that he will perform his duty in a responsible manner. Being posted on a hot seat, it is a matter of pride as well as responsibility. He also put forth some measures to strengthen the functioning of the academy. Savita Bakshi and Shameema Akhtar both additional secretaries, JKACCL were also present. Amandeep Singh Amn, conducted the proceedings. |
