| PM hopes Pak. will do needful to maintain peace in border | | | New Delhi | May 10 Noting that infiltration attempts were being made from across the border, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday expressed hope that Pakistani authorities would do their best to maintain peace. "We have to be alert. There are attempts of infiltration," Singh said when asked to comment on the foiling of a major infiltration bid by militants by the Border Security Force in the Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir. "I hope that the authorities in Pakistan will do all their best to maintain peace and tranquillity in the border," the Prime Minister said. |
