| Campus Sports Committee meet held | | | Early Times Reporter

Director Physical Education, Prof Lokesh Verma chaired the annual meeting of the Campus Sports Committee of the University of Jammu, here.
The members present in the meeting also deliberated formation of various committees and fixation of a suitable date for holding the annual prize distribution function of the Inter-Department Sports Meet. It was decided to hold the function in the first week of June.
According to the reliable sources, the members also showed keen interest in further improving the number of participants in different sports events by motivating the Heads of the Departments and the students who have sports background.
The members who attended the meeting included Dr P S Pathania (Dean Students Welfare), Prof V S Manhas (HoD Geography), Prof Bansi Lal Sharma (HoD Chemistry), Prof Kedar Nath (HoD Sanskrit), Prof Archna Kesar (HoD Dogri), Dr Jasbir Singh (Economics), Dr Shalender Singh (History), Dr Yash Pal Sharma (Botany), Dr Sonam Angchuk, Dr Brij Baloria, Romesh Sharma and Ramesh Magotra (all Department of Physical Education). |
