DC Ramban reviews functioning of Revenue Department

RAMBAN, May 15: To review the functioning of Revenue department, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today convened a meeting of officers in his office chamber here today.
ADC Dr Basharat Hussain, ACR Harbans Lal Sharma, SDM Gool Gyasoo-Ud-Din SDM, Ramsoo Dilmir Chowdhary, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars attended the meeting.
DC directed the ACR and SDMs to ensure functioning of all Niabats at their designated places besides Patwari shall stationed at their Patwar Halqa for the convenience of general public.
He directed all Tehsildars to frame an action plan for removing the encroachments from Forest, State and Kachrai land in their respective areas in time bound manner. They were also directed to identify state land for the construction of Tehsildar office and residential accommodation.
While reviewing the progress with regard to writing of Jamabandi, attestation of mutations and harvest inspection of Girdawaries Rabi-2019, DC directed the Tehsildars to complete the same and regular updation of land record as per targets without any fail so that settlement process under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) can be completed timely.
