JAMMU, May 15: The relatives of six years of girl, who was killed by his own father, staged protest demonstration against the accused and police department for not lodging FIR against accused despite a repeated requests to the concerned authority.
Council for Civil Liberties, Chairman veteran socialist Mohinder Tar Singh condemned boorish attitude towards the girl child and sought justice for a six-year-old girl Sanjana Bhagat who was brutally killed by her own father Suresh Kumar.
The relatives of six year old girl child Sanjana Bhagat told that she was killed by her own father Suresh Kumar of village Kangrail Bhalwal under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanachak on April 19,2019 (late evening) at around 10 PM. Police Station has not arrested accused and no FIR has been registered in this regard. It is unfortunate and total violation of Law of land and human rights.
The mother of the deceased Sonu Devi informed that on April 19, 2019 her little daughter Sanjana was killed by her own father Suresh Kumar. "His abuses woke me up and I was stunned when I did not find my daughter on the bed. I got up as Suresh told me that he has killed and thrown Sanjana outside. I rushed towards Sanjana but Suresh picked her from the floor, scuffled her with a piece of cloth and threw her mercilessly on the floor He rushed towards me and shouted now it is your turn," she added.
"I started crying and shouting for help, on hearing my shouting the nearby neighbours approached and I was saved. Suresh kept on threatening me and repeatedly said that he has killed Sanjana and he will not spare me. Further, Sonu Devi informed that right from the day one when Sanjana was born, Suresh had been threatening to kill her. So much so both of us were thrown out of the house when Sanjana was just three months old, "she also said.
They requested to Governor and Police department to intervene the matter so that justice can be done with six-year-old girl.
