Crackdown on absent employees continues
Several found absent during surprise checking

kishtwar, May 15: The n crackdown on absent employees continues as surprise Inspection of Government Institutions in Tehsil Bunjwah & Drabshalla, many employees found unauthorizedly absent from duties.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, various teams headed by Tehsildar and Naib-Tehsildars of Bunjwah/ Drabshalla Tehsils today visited different Government Institutions to acertain the presence /absence of employees.
Some of the Institutions inspected by the teams include ZEO Office Drabshalla, CDPO Office Drabshalla, TSO Office Drabshalla,Agriculture Extension Office Binoon, PHC Nali, BDO Office Drabshalla, Government Food Store Binoon,
Higher Secondary School Bhadhat, High school Bhadat, Sub-Centre Bhadat, Unani Dispensary Bhadat, AWCs' at Salana, Bhadat, Nali Binoon,Patnazi, Mallie etc.
Besides the inspection by teams, reports were also sought from field functionaries like Patwaris, Lamberdars and Chowkidars about the status of employees in Institutions of their areas. Consequently a number of employees were found unauthorizedly absent.
Tehsildar Bunjwah/ Drabshalla Shohab Latief said that besides submitting daily attendence reports, these inspections are and will be carried time and again to ensure punctuality and efficiency in government offices. He further said that the list of absent employees has been sent to Deputy Commissioner and that the erring employees shall be dealt as per J&K Employees Conduct Rules.
