| Drug peddler arrested, 170 number of intoxicant capsules recovered | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, May 18: Acting sternly against the drug menace and its propagators, District Police Samba in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 170 Nos. of intoxicant capsules from his possession.
A Police Party of Police Ghagwal headed by Inspector Rajeev Kumar, SHO Ghagwal under the supervision of Deepak Digra, Dy. SP Hqrs Samba while performing routine Vehicle checking at Naka NHW Tapyal intercepted a person who was moving under suspicious circumstances. During frisking of the said person, 170 Nos. of intoxicant capsules (Paravon Spas) were recovered from his pocket which were wrapped in black polythene.
The accused persons identified as Manoj Kumar and Tarseem Lal resident Ward No. 1 Pakki Mandi, Samba was arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard a case FIR No. 47/2019 under section 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered and investigation is started. |
