Kahtua, May 18: Spring Dales English School Changran, Kathua has been conferred LPU's "Transforming Education Awards" by Prof. Hrushikesh Senapaty, Director, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The awards to all the winning Schools, teachers and students of the country were given in a Glittering Ceremony at Lovely Professional University Campus, Phagwara on 18th May 2019. Sarthak(11th Class) and Aftaab( 10th Class) had made the video on their most inspiring teacher, Pooja Mahajan which has been selected from J&K state.
The school has been awarded a grant of Rs. 20000, the Teacher an award of Rs. 10000 and the student(s) who made the video have been awarded a prize of Rs. 2500. Director, Prof. R.K Gupta, Pooja Mahajan and the Students also received the Certificates of Achievement for this beautiful short film. The schools, in conjunction with teachers, make both unique and profound impacts on students' lives by launching many of them into successful careers of vast potential futures. To acknowledge the dedicated efforts of such best teachers and their schools, Lovely Professional University (LPU) as its Corporate Social Responsibility launched "Transforming Education Awards" last year in which Former President of India Dr Pranab Mukherjee had honoured the country wide chosen schools, teachers and students. |
