Jammu, May 18: Hakhoo Street Animals Foundation Trust organized awareness programme, "Pledge a Water Bowl Today" outside Monika Super Market, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. In which free clay bowls were distributed by animal lovers.
This awareness programme was a tribute to Dr. Shailender Singh Jamwal (Prof. Deptt. of History & Dean Students Welfare, Jammu University) for his love and selflessness towards animals and birds.
The motto of this awareness programme was to spread the slogan "humans all you need to do is just place a water bowl or a pot containing clean water and help in quenching the thirst of animals and birds on street and at the roof top".
Hakhoo Street Animals Foundation is working thoroughly for the animals on street since year 1993 and appeals everyone should help animals on street by feeding and adopting them. |
