RAJOURI, May 18: Police held a public interaction meeting at Garan village of Tehsil Kalakote.
Meeting was chaired by Addl SP Nowshera Girdharli Lal Sharma. Local sarpanches, panches and other civil society members participated in the meeting wherein they raised many issues including blacktopping of Rajal to Garan road which is in dilapidated condition, availability of an ambulance at PHC Garan, adequate water supply to overcome shortage of water in water supply scheme in the area with main focus on proper functioning of PHE mechanical wing, posting of adequate staff in government high school Garan, opening of JK bank branch at Garan and others. Addl SP Nowshera GL Sharma assured the locals that their demands shall be taken up with the concerned departments for immediate solutions.
During the interaction, the locals were asked to report to the police in any suspicious movement in the area and keep an eye on anti social and anti national elements. They were assured full cooperation by the Jammu and Kashmir police. |
