JAMMU, May 18: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today reviewed the progress of work on Ring Road project here at a meeting of functionaries of the concerned departments. The Divisional Commissioner asked the executing agencies to remove the bottlenecks and expedite the pace of work to meet the timelines.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, Project Director NHAI, Ajay Kumar Rajak, ADC Samba, Vikas Gupta, ACR Jammu, Chander Parkash, Sub Divisional Magistrates R.S.Pura, Jammu North, Jammu South, Marh and other concerned officers. The issues with regard to land acquisition, pending structures, disbursement of compensation amount to the beneficiaries and other allied issued were discussed in depth. The SDMs apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the status of compensation disbursement in their jurisdictions.
The Project Manager NHAI informed about the progress of work achieved so far and future work plan. He also discussed issues of pending structures, land possession and other related matters. |
