| 6 officials suspended for unauthorised absence | | | Early Times Report
Doda, May 24: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Doda Dr Sagar D Diofode today issued an order suspending six government officials for unauthorised absence from duties. The order reads that, "in order to check the punctuality in the offices at District headquarter today on the directions of DDC, Additional District Development Commissioner Doda, Imam Din inspected govt offices between 11 am to 1 pm and found six govt employee were unauthorisedly absent. Acting tough against the erring officials, DDC Doda placed six government officials under suspension with immediate effect till further orders. Further, directed the concerned district officers to conduct in depth enquiry and also explain the reasons for absenteeism in their offices and submit the reply/enquiry report in the office of ADDC within five days positively." Besides, the salary of gazzetted officers has been withheld till further orders and five officers from animal, sheep and agriculture department were asked to explain their unauthorized absence. The said officers are directed to submit their replies within five days to the ADDC Doda. For smooth functioning of government departments and prompt deliverance of services to the people, the district administration is acting swiftly on un-authorized absence of government employees. |
