BJP workers celebrate BJP's historic win in Udhampur

Udhampur, May 24: BJP workers and the local supporters from the constituency congregated to participate in the rally celebrating the historic win of BJP in the Udhampur-Doda- Kathua district. The rally took off from Senior BJP leader and former MLA Pawan Gupta's residence and proceeded towards Gol Market while passing via the main market and finally culminated at Indira Chowk where a Jan Sabha has been organised and sweets were exchanged. The gathering was addressed by Pawan Gupta and other local dignitaries.
Ex- MLA Pawan Gupta thanked the gathering for making Udhampur the biggest victory for BJP in the state with about 78% of the total vote having gone in favour of the party in the Udhampur constituency. He said that the Opposition tried various game plans to ensure the failure of Modi but in the end it was the message of unity, nationalism, development and welfare propounded by the Modi Government that struck a chord with people. People voted for the unprecedented, decisive development work done by the BJP government. All divisive strategies of the opposition including on the name of pseudo-Dogri pride failed as people voted for national unity and development.
The rally was attended by several dignitaries and eminent personalities including the Udhampur Municipal Corporation President Dr Jogeshwar Gupta, Vice President Surinder Singh Khalsa and councilors Kush Pachala, Anil Arora, Rakesh Sharma, Pankaj Proach& Jugal Kishore.The rally also included Sarpanch Shankhal Sodotra, Sarpanch Pritpal Singh, Sarpanch Balwan Singh, Sarpanch Parashotam Gupta, Sham Saroop Kalsotra, Mahesh Badyal, Pawan Regra, Rohit Sethi, PL Suri, Vijay Nargotra, Mohammad Aslam, Amjad Chandel, Gurwant Singh, Sushil Sudan, Ashok Baria, Krishna Kumar Sharma, Mukesh Anthal, Navneet Gupta, Ashish Padha, Tarun Dharmania, Jagdish Gupta, Chandra Shekhar, Shyam lal Modi.
