| Tourism Deptt to organize women run in city | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: The directorate of Tourism Jammu in association with 'Burn a tonn' Unisex fitness club and 98.3 Mirchi presented 'Mirchi Gang of girls', a women fun run under the theme 'She runs this town'. The run will be flagged off from Mubarak Mandi complex and go all the way to Sidhra golf course on 26th of May beginning at 5:30am. The event is also supported by JK Police. Mirchi Shwetima, Mirchi Nikki and Mirchi Nishant will be hosting the fun run.
The theme was conceived by 'Burn a tonn' in their attempt to encourage the women to step out of their homes and enjoy every moment of the run. 'Gang of girls' is also about all the girls and women in the city uniting and sprinting together in support of every female out there who has been burdened by gender stereotypes. |
