Jammu, May 24: Three separate camps called as Cubs, Bulbuls and Parvesh camps were organized at three different places.
The first camp was inaugurated by Raman Bhagat, Head Master Govt. High School Akalpur, while second was RC Vaid, Trainer at Govt. High School Sangrampur, the 3rd camp inaugurated by Bhawna Jamwal at GD Goenka Hr Sec School Marh Block.
380 cubs and bulbuls and 250 Scouts and Guides of above Schools attended the said camps which concluded today. Sukhnandan, Ex-Minister of J&K State was the Chief Guest, Principal GD Goenka Rathore, ZEO Ex Marh Sushila, and ID Soni, State Commissioner was guests of Honour.
The Chief Guest spoke on the occasion and appreciated the role of the noble movement which helped the youth to develop their character, self-reliance and selfless service to the community and cultivates in them courage, commitment, conviction, courtesy and cheerfulness. |
