| HGS holds investiture ceremony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: SOS Hermann Gmeiner School today organized investiture ceremony in the school premises for investing its outstanding students as school council.
The program was presided over by the chief guest Amit Sangral SHO Bakshi Nagar Jammu. The programme commenced with the lightning of traditional lamp followed by cultural items like group songs and group dances that mesmerized the audience.
Students were sworn at an impressive way amidst an air of enthusiasm and vigour. After a traditional welcome by the Teacher in-charge Geeta Bhan of the school, 98 members were given their respective badges. The chief guest in his address told the students to take special care of your mother and teacher. He stressed on giving respect and care to these things for making life successful. He also advised the students to keep away from drug addiction. The vote of thanks was presented by Geeta Bhan. The program culminated with the singing of National anthem. |
