The Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) in a condolence meeting held here today mourned the sad demise of Shashi Bala, senior vice president of the JKMEF who along with her husband Hoshiar Singh was killed by the militants at Samba on May 11.
Members of the federation, in the meeting, condoled the killings and demanded ex-gratia relief of Rs.25 lakh in favor of kins of the deceased.
The federation, in the meeting, unanimously decided to name the park in the director health office complex as Shashi Bala Park as a mark of respect to the deceased.
Among others the meeting was attended by Sushil Sudan, Vinod Sharma, Ajeet Kumar, Deepak Khujaria, Pawan Singh, Kamaljeet Sawhney, Jarnail Choudhary, Anoop Singh, Mohd Hussain, Kulwant Singh, C L koul,, Anil Keasr, Gurucharan Singh, Jugal Bakshi, Dushant Sharma, S.Rajinder Singh,Suresh Suri, Jagdish Raj, Alam Khan and Davinder Bakshi. |
