Senior girls from Shastri Memorial School and under-14 boys from KC International School (KCIS) shared the titles in the Jammu District Taekwondo Championship held at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here under the banner of District Jammu Taekwondo Association.
Deputy Mayor, Dharamveer Singh was chief guest in the prize distribution function, who gave away medals to the winners of different age groups. Inderjeet Khajuria, Surinder Singh Bunty, president Youth National Conference and Ashok Manhas (Corporator) were guests of honour.

Under-12 Boys: 22-24 kg: Lakshay Gupta (NSC), Ist; Gautam Sharma (DBN), 2nd; Saksham Gupta and Satyam Gupta (both DPS) joint third. 24-26 kg: Aryaman Choudhary (KCIS), Ist; Jaskirat Singh (KCIS), 2nd; Sukul Tikoo (DPS), Sanath Sareen (KCIS) and Eyanshu Gupta (DPS), shared the third place.26-28 kg: Abhishek Dogra (JKAUT), Ist; Bhopinder Singh (NSC), 2nd Aditya Aggarwal (ATC) and Akshit Ghai (ATC), joint third. 28-30 kg: Kanwar Pal Singh (KCIS), Ist; Nandan Dhawan (DBN), 2nd; Manik Malhotra and Nitesh Jamwal (both DBN), joint third.
Boys PV Group: Chirag Langar (KCIS), Ist; Tushar Gupta (LPS), 2nd; Manat Goyal (ROM) and Abhi Damotra (WSC), joint third.
Under-12 Girls: 28-30 kg: Ankita Sharma (NSC), Ist; Anga Gupta (KCIS), 2nd and Radhika Sharma and Himani Khajuria (both Shastri School), joint third. 30-34 kg: Priya Sethi (LPS), Ist; Muksan Gupta (TTC), 2nd and Ayausha Mangotra (Shastri School), third.
Senior Girls: 40-44 kg: Meenakshi (Shastri Memorial), Ist; Sonia Sharma (Spring Blossom), 2nd and Surbhi Sharma (SSE), third. 44-48 kg: Kavita Kumari (Shastri School), Ist; Manjeet Kour (ETT, Lal Bahadur Shastri), 2nd and Sukhveer Kour (ETT, Lal Bahadur Shastri), third. 48-52 kg: Monika Jamwal (Shastri School), Ist; Isha Deol (ETT Lal Bahadur Shastri), 2nd and Suman Sharma (ETT Lal Bahadur Shastri), third. |
