| 2 CRPF men killed, Al-Badr ultra held | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | May 14 Militants on Wednesday killed both the two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men who were reportedly kidnapped during a search operation in Behak Padder and Skull Forests of Pulwama district, while a joint team of police and Army apprehended a local Al – Badr cadre from village Adoora Mavar in Handwara in North Kashmir. Two constables of 166 Bn CRPF while they were conducting search operation in Behak Padder and Skull Forests, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajpora in Pulwama district Police sources told that the bodies of the two CRPF men of 166 Bn CRPF who were kidnapped during a search operation in Behak Padder and Skull Forests, falling were recovered today. Police has registered a case and taken up investigations. Meanwhile, Police and 30RR on Wednesday apprehended a local trained militant of Al-Badr at village Adoora Mavar, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Handwara. The militant has been identified as Riyaz Ahmad Hajam, son of Ghulam Ahmad, resident of Adoora Handwara. He is a close associate of Al-Badr foreign militant, Tamim alias Shami District Commander Qaziabad Rafiabad. On his disclosure one 9mm Pistol, one Pistol magazine, four rounds, one Radio set, one Combat dress and two rubber stamps were recovered. Police has registered a case in this regard. |
