Jammu | May 14
An emergency meeting of executive member of NICCI (Northern India Chamber of Commerce & Industries)was held today where all members condemned the behavior and working of state govt in J&K. As per release, Dheeraj Gupta, gen sec, said it was the first time in the history of India that a state govt. invites industries & trade from all over the country to install the units in the state and promises them for a clean atmosphere to run their units smoothly. Now when industrialists installed their factories in the state and gave employment to lakhs of people, the central govt has withdrawn the central excise package in a very mysterious manner and the CM of the state has got no time to even condemn the step of central govt which has shaken the faith of all industries.
He requested the central and state govts either to give back the excise benefit or waive off loans taken from the bank to run the businesses.
