| Govt has soft approach towards militants: Gupta | | | Early Times Reporter

Led by BJP Distt. President Rajesh Gupta and BJYM East Mandal President Sanjiv Gupta, the Yuva Morcha activists today held a massive protest demonstration at Kachi Chawni and burnt the effigy of the Congress-led UPA government for its soft approach towards the militants.
Rajesh Gupta and Sanjiv Gupta, while addressing the protest demonstrators on this occasion, said that the recent militant attack in Samba and killing of a number of innocent civilians and army personnel is an indication that the Congress-led UPA at the Centre has no clear cut policy to check the militancy. They said the revocation of POTA by the UPA government is a glaring instance of the non-seriousness on its part to take effective steps to check militancy. They asked the Congress-led UPA government to formulate a clear cut policy to deal with the militancy so that the people across the country feel secure.
Prominent among those who took part in today’s protest demonstration included Ramesh Sharma, Pawan Pandoh, Vijay Gupta, Naveen Dogra, Narinder Sawhney, Ashu Gupta, Jyoti Dogra, Gagan Singh, RP Singh and Rakesh Dogra. |
