| Natrang to celebrate 26th Foundation Day | | Three plays featuring Gen-X to be staged: Balwant | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 14 On the completion of its 25 years, Natrang has decided to stage three plays featuring next generation of directors at Abhinav Theatre from May 15-17. This was disclosed by Balwant Thakur, Director of Natrang while addressing a press conference here today. Balwant Thakur said that all the three plays will be performed at 6 pm daily and entry will be free of charges. He further said that Natrang in last 25 years has emerged as one of the most arts happening place of North India, in these years the group has not only produced good actors but good directors as well. The celebrations of the 26th Foundation Day of Natrang will feature three upcoming young directors who will showcase best of their works and festival named as ‘Generation Next’ will have the new innovations and ideas of the young directors, he added. Giving details of the plays, he said play “Mind Games” conceived and directed by Sumeet Sharma will be staged tomorrow while play “Pinki Bunty Aur Gangu” based on a German play “Max and Milli” directed by Moazzam Ali will be staged on the second day. On concluding day the play “Comedy of Terrors” will be presented under the direction of Sanjeev Gupta. Suresh Kumar a senior member of Natrang also addressed the press conference. |
