Jammu and Kashmir would host empowered committee meeting of State Finance Ministers second time at Srinagar on June 21, 2008 for which arrangements were finalized at a high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of Minister for Finance and Urban Development Tariq Hamid Karra.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary B. R. Kundal, Financial commissioner Home S. S. Kapoor, Commissioner Secretary Finance B. B. Vyas, Commissioner commercial taxes Khawaja Bashir Ahmad, Secretary Transport Dalip Singh, Director Information Zaffar Ahmad, Director Hospitality and Protocol, Special Secretary Finance and Director Garages .
As many as, 20 Finance Ministers of different states, senior officers of Central Government and empowered committee, besides 15 finance secretaries of various states would participate in the forthcoming meeting.
Karra directed the concerned to ensure adequate arrangements for VVIPs, officers with regard to boarding, lodging and security. |
