| Gautam guides DBN to U-17 boys football title | | | Early Times Reporter

Superb game played by Gautam Mehra helped Dewan Badri Nath (DBN) Vidya Mandir Amarvilla won the under-17 boys inter-school football tournament played at BSF ground Paloura, near here.
In the final, DBN outplayed Spring Dales by two goals to one. In the well contested match, DBN boys scored both the goals in the second half of the match. Gautam Mehra scored both the goals.
Earlier, DBN trounced the defending champions, JK Public School 4-3 in tie-breaker in the opening match. Later, in the semi-finals, DBN defeated BSF (Border Security Force) School to make it into the final.
This tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as part of their annual activities.
Meanwhile, the management of the school appreciated the boys for their superb performance and complimented the team coach for the hard work. |
