| 433 constables pass out from PTS Manigam | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | May 15 Inspector General of Police Personnel and trainings Ram Lubhaya has told the policemen to make Jammu and Kashmir police a people friendly force. Mr. Lubaya was addressing at the passing out parade of 7th batch of the Constable recruitment Training Course at Police Training School Manigam today. Ram Lubhaya advised the passing out constables to keep in mind human rights of the people while discharging their duties. Addressing the recruits, the IGP said that after completion of basic training, you are entering the new phase of your life laden with responsibilities, high expectation and diversified role of providing service to the society. He said the prevailing security scenario of our state has been afflicted by the menace of militancy for more than one and half decade now and during last 19 years more than 1400 Police Officers and Jawans have so far made supreme sacrifices of their lives in the fight against the militancy while protesting the life and property of the citizens of the country. Earlier Mr. Ram Lubhaya IPS, took the salute at a magnificent parade. Dy Inspector General of Police, trainings Mr.Ravinder Kotwal in his address said that Police headquarter is providing all possible help to PTS Manigam so that it becomes a premiere police training institute in the Kashmir division. He said that more land is being acquired for the school so that more training facilities are created. In his welcome address Principal of the Institute Mr. M.S. Punoo gave a detailed account of the training imparted to the Constables. He said that a dedicated team of trainers both in Indoor and outdoor gave training to the 7th batch which consisted of 433. On this occasion, recruit Constable Vikas Sharma No. 1069/Aux 1st Bn was declared All Round Best and 1st in Outdoor as well and was promoted Out of Turn as Select grade Constable. He was also awarded with CC class 1st with cash reward of Rs. 4000/-, Recruit Constable Ghulam Rubbani No. 555/U was declared 2nd All Round Best and 1st in Indoor was awarded with CC class 1st with cash reward of Rs. 9000/-, Recruit Constable Shariq Alam No. 306/Rbn secured 1st position in Range Classification and was awarded with CC class 1st and cash reward of Rs. 3000/- and Recruit Constable Mohammad Irfan No. 555/Rbn has been declared 3rd All Round Best and was given CC class 1st with cash reward of Rs. 4000/-. |
