| Boat capsizes, 7 women saved | | | Early Times Reporter

Lives of five tourists were saved when their rafting boat capsized in Lidder at Pahalgam. All the tourists were females from Mumbai. They have been identified as Mehru Nisa, Khurshid Rashid, Aiyashan, Shamema Khurshid, Sheikh Mehru Nisa, Prabha Naidu and Pooja Pariwal all residents of Danivari, Mumbai. As soon as Pahalgam police received information, a police team led by SHO Manzor Ahmed reached the spot and rescued all the tourists from being drowned. They were immediately rushed to Pahalgam hospital for treatment. |
