| BSF seizes heroin worth Rs 300 crore | | | Early Times Reporter

Troops of BOP Durga Tower ex 141 Bn BSF seized 60 Kgs heroin amounting to Rs 300 crores in International market and Rs 16 Lacs Indian Fake currency notes of 1, 000 rupee and 500 rupee denomination near border in R.S Pura sub Sector here today.
During ambush near border with the help of Night Vision Devices observed some movement close to border. The party went ahead and challenged the suspect to surrender but they escaped towards Pakistan territory. In the morning, after first light, the area was cordoned and searched thoroughly. During search 60 packets of Herion wrapped in bag, 5 packets of 1000 rupee denomination notes and 22 packets of 500 rupee denomination notes were recovered from the fields near the border.
However, no one has been arrested in connection with the smuggling of heroin. |
