| Khoda asks forces to foil designs of anti-national forces | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 18 Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda reviewed over all security scenario in the state at a high level meeting held under his chairmanship here today wherein officers of various wings of police and other security agencies participated. Khoda took a detailed review of the security arrangements being made for the ensuing Shri Amarnath Yatra and the likely visits of high dignitaries to the state in the near future. He impressed upon the security agencies to ensure close coordination at all levels for best results. The DGP asked the forces to remain vigilant to thwart any design of anti-national elements and be ready to face any situation. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police has always shown its mettle in difficult situations and hoped that in future too the forces would also prove best in tackling any situation, Khoda added. He complemented the people for their whole-hearted support and cooperation to the police and security agencies in maintaining law and order in the state and said that the Jammu and Kashmir Police would make all out efforts to protect the life and property of the people of state. Among others, the meeting was attended, by I.G. BSF, Jammu, A.K. Sarolia, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, K. Rajedndra Kumar, DIG Jammu, Farooq Khan, SSP Jammu Alok Kumar, SSP PCR, Jammu Shakeel Beig and all concerned District Superintendents of Police of Jammu Division and other senior police officers. |
