| Five schoolgirls mauled by bear | | | Early Times Reporter
Srinagar | May 18
Five girls were hospitalised after being attacked by a bear that strayed into their school in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Sunday.
They said the bear which had strayed into the area from a nearby forest entered a government high school at Saller, near Pahalgam, and mauled the five girls on Saturday.
The schoolgirls were rused to the civil hospital of the town for treatment, they added. |
