The department of Archives, Archeology and museum, Jammu held a guided lecture tour and on spot quiz competition among the students of Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu and Veedyapeeth Higher Secondary School on international museum day celebrated the world over.
As per a press release the students were guided around the museum highlighting the reference of museums and their importance in preserving the Archeological remains/antiquities which further help in understanding and studying the history of mankind and its development. The director Archives, Archeology and museum, deputy director Archives, Archeology and museum, Asstt. Director Archives Jammu, Curator Dogra art museums and other officers supervised the event, the release added. |
