| Several deputations call on Advisor to CM | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 18 Several Deputations today called upon Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr Janak Raj Gupta and apprised him of their grievances. The deputation of Physical Education Degree and Diploma holders demanded for implementation of Rehbar-e-Khel. Degree and Diploma Engineers demanded absorption as Rehar-E-Jhtmirat. I.T.I diploma holders asked for their absorption in various departments on the pattern of Reheber-a-Ziarat. Deputation of Doda migrants led by Suraj Prakash Raina emphasized for on the spot verification of Doda migrants and treating them at par with Kashmiri migrants. A deputation of unemployed Veterinary Doctors Association lead by NSUI State General Secretary, Dr. Rajesh Kalha and President Unemployed Veterinary Doctors Association, Dr Adil Bukhari briefed Mr Gupta about the increasing number of unemployed veterinary doctors in the state with ferwer number of posts created for qualified veterinary graduates from the last two decades. Class IV Employees of Education Department informed that their promotions have not occurred for last 10 years and demanded regular DPC. A deputation of Guggars and Bakerwals of Samba and Jammu districts apprised him about the problems being faced by their community living in harsh condition. They demand representation to the community in Advisory Board. They also appreciated Azad led government for establishing mobile schools and providing medical facilities to their community at their doorsteps. A deputation of All J&K Consolidated Lecturers (10+2) Forum under the Presidentship of Mr Arun Bakshi and Provincial President of the forum Mr. Hans Raj met Mr Gupta and apprised about their genuine demands including continuation of their services on the basis of court order as they have been discontinued by the verbal order of Director School Education, Jammu, payment of their salaries for the vacation period as mentioned in the court judgment, not to disturb/oust the lecturers on the basis of the orders issued by High Court, directions to the Director and Secretary Education. Deputation of Physical Education Lecturers led by Mr. Swarn Singh thanked Chief Minister, Mr Ghulam Nabi for fulfilling their long pending demand and promoting them as lecturers. Janak Raj Gupta heard the deputations and assured that their genuine demands will be taken up with concerned authorities for early fulfillment. He also hailed revolutionary decisions taken by Mr Azad in appointing all agriculture graduates and generating employment avenues for unemployment youth. He said that the government has scripted a new chapter of progress and development in the two and a half years period. He said that initiatives taken by the government have accelerated economic growth and political stability in the trouble torn state which has given him a prominent place in the annals of political history. |
