| Army dedicates Mircro Hydel Project to Chunga villagers | | | Early TimesReporter

In its endeavour to meet the aspirations of the local populace, 39 Rashtriya Rifles (GRENADIERS), under the aegis of 14 Sector RR, Romeo Force, has installed Mirco Hydel Project (MHP) at Chunga B(Kasba), Mendhar Tehsil, Poonch under Ministry of Non- Conventional Energy Sources (MNES) Scheme.
The project was formally handed over to the state administration at an impressive function which was attended by several civil officers, besides a large number of people of the village and its adjoining areas.
This goodwill gesture of the army has been widely hailed by the locals who expressed their gratitude for installing this much needed project that would ease the power situation in the border villages. |
