| Randhir: Terrorism has to be fought with heavy hand | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 19 Former Minister and state NCP President Thakur Randhir Singh while condemning terror incident of Samba has said that certain elements have vested interest in prolonging militancy as it has become an industry for them. Addressing 10th day Shradanjali Samaroh in memory of Late Hoshiar Singh and his wife Shashi Bala today, Singh said that terrorism has to be fought with a heavy hand and all have to unite in this endeavour to ensure the peace and safety for a common man in the country. He stressed upon Pakistan to act tough against militants and closed down terrorists training camp operating in POK and Pakistan and also check infiltration to demonstrate sincerity to improve relation with India. NCP chief said that infiltration from across the border, unprovoked border firing as well as piece and dialogue process can not go side by side. Paying glowing homage to Hoshiar Singh and Shashi Bal and others innocent persons who lost their life. While paying tribute to Martyrs of Samba Thakur said it is great pride that Shashi Bala who was also assassinated along with her husband played a key role in organizing worker and fought justice for the working class. |
