| YDC celebrates birthday of Lord Buddha | | | Early Times Reporter

Buddhists dignitaries and followers in Jammu city celebrated the 2552nd birthday of Lord Buddha today. The celebration was jointly hosted by various organizations including youth development committee. As per a press release, addressing the gathering on the event, R.L.Kaith said that the message of Lord Buddha transversed around the world crossing the boundaries of region and binding people together in the bonds of amity and tranquility.
Satpaul Lakhotra highlighted the philosophy of Lord Buddha. He said the teachings of Lord Buddha inspires all to follow the path of non-violence for creating a better world to live in. others present in the celebration also spoke.
Prominent among those who participated in the celebration included Messers Anant Ram, Beli Ram, Dev Raj, Ram Dass, Rakesh Kumar and others. |
