SRINAGAR, AUGUST 30 – To delimit the areas with population etc for newly created district for Kulgam and other tehsils, the members of Delimitation Committee comprising Mr. Mushtqq Ahmad Ganai, Mr. Mumtaz Afzal and Mr. A. G. Shahbaz visited Anantnag today and held a meeting at Dak Bungalow Khannabal with district administration including field agency of Revenue department.
The District Development Commissioner, Anantnag Mr. G. A. Peer held threadbare discussion and suggested his views with regard to delimitation boundaries. Mr. Mushtaq Ahamad Ganai on the occasion said that the delimitation has to be done keeping in view the administrative convenience, public interest, rationality and benefits to the people on ground level.
The meeting, among others, was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Development, CEO, CPO, SE Roads and Buildings, Tehsildars and other field staff. |
