| Two thieves held; jewellery, cash recovered | | | Early Times Reporter

Kathua police held two thieves and recovered jewellery and cash from their possession. Giving detail sources said that last month a theft took place in the house of Ram Singh at Mohanpur and a complaint was lodged in Mahanpur police post. In order to nab the thieves a police team led by in charge police post Kamaldev Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO K.P Singh and ASP Benam Tosh was constituted.
Team conducted several raids and search operation and finally got success to arrest the thieves identified as Surjit Sing alias Anku S/o Mohan Singh and Mohan Lal S/o Sudesh Kumar both residents of Mahanpur stolen Jewellery worth rupees Sixty thousand and cash of rupees seventy five thousand were recovered from their possession. A case under section 451, 434 RPC has been registered against them. |
