Congress and UPA government should clear the air if there is any change in Kashmir policy of peace talks and CBMs, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today said in the wake of recent "bullet for bullet" remarks by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Lambasting Azad for his remarks, JKNPP Chief Prof Bhim Singh said, "Has Azad given a go bye to the latest declaration for zero tolerance, besides, holding dialogue with the angry and violent youth (militants)?"
"Congress and UPA government should spell out whether they have changed Kashmir policy of peace talks, CBM's (confidence building measures) and the healing touch and adopted a new bullet for bullet and violence for violence policy on Kashmir," he said.
During a function in Jalandhar on Sunday, Azad had said: "How can you initiate talks with terrorists, who after attaining training from across the border, come to kill you. Either you have to kill him, otherwise you will be killed".
