| JKCA to hold Hot Weather tourney | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | May 20 The Jammu wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has decided to organize Hot Weather Cricket Tournament at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here from June Ist. However, the meeting, which besides others was attended by working president of JKCA, Ramesh Mahajan, vice-chairman Jammu wing, Sham Saroop Kalsotra and joint secretary Jammu wing, Sunit Sharma, decided to meet again on May 25 to discuss certain more things related to cricket in Jammu. “The decision with regard to the Hot Weather (limited overs) Cricket Tournament was final as all the members were agreed to the decision of Jammu wing,” informed sources told Sports & Allied News. About 20 teams representing various affiliated clubs as also from others districts of Jammu Province will be competing for the top honours in the 40-over a side knock-out competition. |
