After inter-school competitions, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) is going to organize inter-zonal competitions of Jammu district from May 27 at Government Higher Secondary School, Domana on Jammu-Akhnoor road, near here.
In total, 13 zones fall under Jammu districts shall be completing in different events of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Wrestling in both under-14 and under-17 age groups. “The boys competitions start from May 27, while the girls events shall take place from May 31st to June three at the same venue,” District Officer, Jai Raj told Sports & Allied News.
Also organizing secretary of the competitions, the district officer informed that different committees, comprising experts from the department, have been formed for the smooth and successful conduct of the competitions. |
